We try to never waste any space, so if we're going to build drawers, we like to bring them to within about 1/4" of the sliding door for you. If we do that, we have to avoid traditional handles and cut the handhold pulls. We do this often!
A quick count shows these drawers will hold approximately 66 videos each of the "Disney" size, more for standard VHS format. Of course, drawers such as these can be used for anything, not just videos!
