Most Murphy bed projects are simply beds tucked away in a cabinet, about 16" deep in most cases.  This project involved bringing out the depth 26" to accommodate the depth of an adjoining closet and office area, so there was plenty of room to build the bookcases with pillow stow-away area and lighting fixture behind the Queen-sized bed.  Use your imagination!
