About This Fountain:This fountain is composed of 4 high-quality fiberglass sections (which simply bolt together) and includes 2 large boulders (more can be purchased separately). The cave piece is composed of 3 fiberglass sections which are bolted together at the manufacturing facility and finished to appear as 1 piece (weighs approximately 300 pounds). The spillway attaches separately during customer installation (weighs approximately 200 pounds). The Grotto is available in four colors. We also have Quartz Veining and/or Lichens available as optional exclusive features. The Grotto is delivered complete and pre-stained, ready for simple assembly and mounting to the deck. No foundation is required. The water weir is an impressive 48" wide and is designed to flow 50-70gpm. Use the existing pool pump or install a dedicated pump inside of Grotto's pump housing area which includes a convenient pump access cover. The Grotto itself is huge! Approximately 8 feet wide, 7 feet tall, and 7 feet depth (from the back of the piece to the spillway over the pool). With the two included boulders, it stretches out almost 15' along the edge of your pool or pond. May be used with a swimming pool setting, as shown, or simply as a great waterfall into a pond. The Grotto generally utilizes your pool pump system and can handle up to 50-70 gallons per minute discharge. If you do not have your pool or pond pump, we recommend at least a 3600 gallon per hour pump, which can be selected above (tubing, valves, etc. not included, but we sell and can arrange to send those various parts - call us).
