Wishihadthat.com is a premier decor site, and an Industry Partner with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers).
While designers may be a perfect fit for our program, you do not have to be a designer to earn commissions! If you have a
valid website, you may apply to become
one of our approved
affiliates. We do not approve websites that, in our sole opinion,
are not a good fit for our products. Most websites are approved, and if your application to become an affiliate is
in that group,
you will be able to link to us and earn 8% commissions from all sales directly attributed to your links!
A few people have asked if the sale has to be for the specific product
linked in order to earn the commission. The answer is NO. If you link to
ANY url on Wishihadthat, the code assigned to you as an affiliate will
follow the customer's browsing via a 30 day cookie, and if they purchase
ANYTHING during that 30 days, you get the credit for that sale! For
example, if your link was to our Furniture department, but they end up
buying moulding, you still earn the commissions. The main object is to get
them to Wishihadthat...then let them do the shopping through our thousands
of pages of decor!
Commission Schedule
A flat 8% commission is paid on all sales generated as a result of your
Affiliate links to Wishihadthat.com.
Commission payments
Sites generating sales that result in more than $500 in commissions in any calendar month will receive a monthly check. Commissions under $500 will be rolled into the following month for further accumulation. Once $500 is accumulated,
then a check will be mailed at the end of that month. For sites accumulating less commission than $500 in the
quarter, we will issue a quarterly check, provided a minimum of $100 is generated. Sites generating less than
$100 in any quarter will have accumulated commissions rolled into the next quarter.
It's as easy as 1-2-3:
1 - Submit your Application to us for approval. Sites displaying objectionable materials are not approved, and Wishihadthat reserves the right to approve or deny any website for any reason.
2 - Once approved, we will assign you a specific code to add to the end
of any URL hyperlink to our site, with easy-to-follow instructions on how to
link.
3 - You may then add as many banners, images, or text links to
your site as you desire...linking targeted URLs on Wishihadthat that you feel
you wish to target...as many as you like to whatever departments or specific
product pages as you like! You can create your own very easily or use some
of ours. One of the most effective ways to us the code
is in your email correspondence with friends and customer lists. The better you place your links
and the more you use your links in your emails, the more you
can potentially earn!
How it works
Wishihadthat.com uses a data system that tracks incoming link codes.
These links are entered as a cookie on the users computer, and any
purchases made with Wishihadthat during the next 30 days (providing
their cookies are enabled) will generated commission for you.
Your code will be unique only to your website (a separate code can be
provided for each website your have, if more than one and you wish to
separate earnings), and that code
allows us to trade exactly how many sales were generated because of
your links. The placement of links on your site is solely up to
you, but the better your placements, the better your potential sales. After your application is received and approved, we will send you
specific and easy-to-follow "how to" page.
March 13, 2007 Affiliate Update!
Wishihadthat.com is pleased to announce that we have just signed on Performics to handle and manage our affiliate
program and commission payments. This is a large independent company
that manages the affiliate program for Barnes & Noble, Khol's, Bose,
Sears, and many others. This will be a great improvement for our
program, as affiliates will be able to monitor the program clicks and sales
generated from their links, and Performics will directly track all affiliate
sales and pay affiliate commissions once their program is in place. It will take at
least a month for us to switch over to their program, so in the meantime,
just fill out the application linked below as usual. Once Performics
is in place, than this page will direct new affiliates to their set-up page,
and we will contact all existing affiliates with directions.
