Ceiling Skins: Expensive look ... Inexpensive cost!
Made from UV stabilized .35 mm vinyl thermoplastic, these tiles may be directly mounted on your ceiling or, if you have a grid system with flat acoustical tiles, they may be added as a skin to create a ceiling with a "wow" factor. These tiles are easy to install, easy to clean, stain and water resistant, resource friendly and delivered direct to your door! Please note that there is no minimum order on our in stock ceiling skins, so you may order single tiles if you want to see what they look like before placing a larger order.
Quantity in Stock
The number listed in the Qty in Stock section above is the quantity of ceiling tiles we currently have ready to ship in our warehouse. If the tiles are in stock they take 3-7 business days for delivery. If your order is more than what we have in stock the tiles must be manufactured so please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery on those orders. For orders that are greater than the number we have in stock, there is a 50 tile minimum order.
Installing your Ceiling Skins
Direct Mount Installation
These tiles are direct mount only. They have a lip on 2 sides that is designed to be overlapped by the next tile.
Using an adhesive like Loctite's Power Grab, simply apply the ceiling skins directly on to your ceiling or wall.
Fire Rating
The ceiling skins have been independently tested by Intertek Testing Services. They have a Class A fire rating with a flame spread index of 15 and a smoke developed index of 120. The scale is based on a noncombustible cement-asbestos board with a value of 0 and untreated lumber being 100. So these will burn significantly slower than wood but emit about 20% more smoke than wood on the parts that are burning.
