Skins! Redo your ceilings or
install new-look panels at a fraction of the cost of using
expensive tiles with our newest product...Ceiling Skins! People that see
them will think you spent a LOT more money on them than you actual do!
We will soon be stocking
many of these Ceiling Skins in several finishes. In the meantime, you may order
them in advance (subject to minimum 50 same-kind tiles) and we will
import your order specific for you.
Imagine giving your ceiling and wall a new designer SKIN!
Made from UV Stabilized .35mm thick vinyl thermoplastic, this product is actually
designed to be a thick "skins" and are not intended to serve as a
stand-alone drop-in grid tile. The can, however, be directly glued to
walls and other areas that gravity will not They can be contact cement glued directly to any flat surface, ceiling or
wall. If you have a grid system now, with standard flat acoustic tiles,
you simple glue these skins on those tiles and trim off any excess around the
perimeter, then reinstall the tile. They can also be glued
directly onto any flat ceiling, drywall, walls, etc. The feather-light construction creates a high relief and colorfully finished
ceiling you can admire...without the installation
breaking your
back or pocketbook! They are easy to install, easy to clean, stain resistant, water resistant, dust free, resource friendly and delivered directly to your door! Sizes & Colors:
Most
of these Ceiling Skin designs are available in a wide range of color
s and finishes.
Review images below and then select desired finish from above menu. Not
all designs come in all colors...we will have many standard finishes
available...but if you want a special color or finish not specifically shown in
the menu above, select "Custom Color" and enter the specific
color/finish description found in the two images below and we will find out if
that color is available for the design you selected (it probably will be.).
 Installation...EASY!
1) Remove a few of your old tiles at a time, spray contact cement on those
tiles and the flat parts on the backside
of the skins. If you do not have existing tiles to
serve as backing for these skins, go to your local home improvement store
and purchase sheets of either 1/4" MDF or 7/16" OSB and
cut into 23.5" x 23.5" squares. You'll get 8 tile backings
per sheet at about $1 each.
2) Let the cement reach the tacky stage, then line up and apply the skins and trimmed
off the excess around the perimeter of the tile with a razor knife.
3) Set aside for 10-15 minutes to let the contact cement bond and set up
firmly (actually, that will happen very fast!)
4) Replace the tile in your grid...you're finished! (Need to change
from a 2x4 to 2x2? Read below.

hours time, we had almost all of our sample
tiles affixed to the old base tiles and installed them in our showroom. Boy,
what a difference! Were we impressed, as has everyone that has seen them...so much so that we have
decided to start importing in volume via containers...but you can
pre-order them now and we'll have them shipped directly. Click on any of

Changing a 2 x 4 Grid to accommodate your new skins:
Our showroom, like most commercial buildings, had 2 x 4 tile, and if
you also have a 2x4 grid ceiling, it's easy to change. In our
opinion, the 2x2 ceiling tiles better! When you take down your
2 x 4 tiles, you'll need to cut them down, so if you have a table saw
handy, just make a line at 23.5" from both ends and cut. You'll
be removing about a 1/4" of length, then apply the skins to the now
two tiles. You then simply insert a 2' center T bar. Don't get
too caught up in having to fit them in the slots in the T-grid...we just
bent over the tab ends and put them in place. These dividers are
available at most local hardware stores or for $2 each from us when you
order tiles. Count how many dividers you'll need for your project,
click below and order them with your new skins:

assorted random 4" x 4" samples of the material and some of the finishes
so you will at least be
able to determine if the "skins" are what you want
before placing your order. There is a $5 charge only to
cover the shipping and handling.
Special Order 25% Return Policy:
The return policy for our
Ceiling Skins is different than on most of our products since these are manufactured
specific to your order. For returns the customer will be responsible for the original shipping, the
return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee so please take advantage of our sample
pack and the
information provided on the this page to assist you in deciding which tiles to
order. Partial returns are not allowed and the Ceiling Skins must be in
new condition if returned. No returns after 15 days of receipt.
Shipping Rates and Minimum Order:
Because of the custom finishing that must be done on your tiles, there is a
minimum order of 50 tiles, which will put your order over our $200 for
free shipping. The price you pay is the price you see.
