Custom Carved from Photos! Now, you can order custom carved busts of family members and others from Premium Hunan marble - a beautiful fine white marble - approx 24" tall.
The custom carved busts are hand carved from solid marble and the lifesized 23-24" weigh approximately 110 pounds. Custom busts in various sizes are available, including classical busts or personalized busts from photographs. You will need to submit to us digital images of the subject...several angles and then a "primary" photo that you want the majority of features to be from. Mailed photos will NOT be returned, so we recommend you scanning your originals to email in digital form....the larger format, the better. Custom bust s can take 3-4 months, so be patient during the process, which first involves having one of our master sculptors make a full-size clay model and then have you approve it, suggesting any changes prior to the actual marble carving.
Busts are usually done in our Premium Hunan marble, but you may also request completely custom marble colors for various parts of the bust. If customizing marble colors, view this Marble Types Page and then select from the menu above and detail what you would like in the personalization box above. Example: white face, brown hair, black jacket, white shirt, red tie. With each, be sure you let us know from the color chart which colors you are referring to.
