Returns
At Wish I Had That.com, we stand behind the quality of our products and we have streamlined our return procedures to make them as simple as possible in the event that you do need to return a product. Unless the product is a custom product as described below, you may return a product within 30 days of receiving your order as long as the product is in its original condition and packaging.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping any product back to us. We will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the product less actual shipping costs incurred with your order. The cost of shipping is calculated and included as a non-addon in our pricing for orders over $200 and represented as a flat $8 for order under $200, but it is NOT without cost if you return products. The actual shipping costs that it took to get your order to you will be subtracted from your return. We do not charge any restocking fees for the majority of our products, however there are a few lines that do have restocking fees and those are clearly outlined on the detailed description page of those particular products.
If you would like to make a return please call us at 800-419-1130 or email us at sales@wishihadthat.com. It is important that you contact us by phone or through email prior to returning an item so that we can provide you with the correct return shipping instructions. Certain products on our web site have different return instructions then others.
Custom Items
The only items on our web site that are not subject to the guidelines above are products that have been custom built or products that have had a logo or engraving applied to it. Since they have been built to specific customer needs we can not accept returns unless a return agreement has been formed at the time the original order was placed.
Return Form
After calling us you may receive instruction to download and fill out our return form. You can find it HERE. After printing and filling out the form, follow the instructions on the form and make sure to include it with the returned product.
Damage
Please inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives for damage. If the packaging is obviously damaged you can refuse delivery, and make sure to have the driver note the condition of the package. Most carriers will stop the shipment and notify us if there has been obvious damage during the shipping process but sometimes damaged items get by. If you happen to be unfortunate enough to receive any damaged items, do the following;
- Notify us within 3 days at 800-419-1130 or you can e-mail us at sales@wishihadthat.com.
- Take digital photos of the damage and email them to sales@wishihadthat.com. Include your order number and a description of the problem areas. Photos are a great way for us to be able to see what kind of damage was suffered and allows us to file a claim to the shipping company.
In the event of damage we reserve the right to replace the item or pay for the repair of the item. If a customer wishes to return the item without allowing for repair or replacement then it will fall under the guidelines of our return policy and the customer is responsible for the actual shipping costs for the original and return shipping.
We are not responsible for any costs of installation or any supplemental costs due to a delay of the project resulting from damaged or items shipped in error, however once we receive notice of the damage we will arrange a replacement to be shipped as quickly as possible and we will cover normal shipping costs to correct the problem.
