An electric miter saw is a "must-have" device if you plan on doing architectural renovations. With a miter saw, you will be able to cut moldings at an angle. Angled cuts will allow a molding to fit around windows and doors, or the inside/outside corners of your walls. A decent miter saw is priced between $150-$200. A great saw can cost in upwards of $1000.
